Well, if a company gets hacked because the "guys on the top" don't care about security then they deserve to get hacked into. Microsoft has given enough notice already to people (and in their update, since it's the first major update that comes up telling you to upgrade to SP3).
It's like a hurrican (level 4 or 5), if the people are smart they will get out before it hits land fall, but we don't live in a perfect world, so alot of people stay behind and eventually get screwed.
