Google's new social network is growing fast, with more than 10 million users in its first week of operation. That’s not too bad for an invite-only Closed Beta release! The new social network is also a hit with users, unlike previous efforts like Orkut and Buzz. As with any social network, however, over sharing is the default option, and a constant concern. Seems Google+ stands below facebook with the ease of usage.. Words, come on, circles, Huddles?? I dont think many will know what it is.. Also, what about email? So many people use Gmail as their main inbox, and so many mail hacks going on, same google account used for many, now this makes a private life into a social network with same google account??? Wont it be easy for hackers?? I don't know about this clearly, but still i am not convinced to make my private email account( i.e google account ) to a public social network.

That's one way to look at it, I suppose, but I prefer to look at G+ as a more nuanced version Facebook. As for security, if you are concerned about getting your gmail and other Google services hacked, I recommend you set up two-factor verification. In fact, I recommend you set up 2-factor regardless.
