If unpatched, an attacker could exploit each of the critically rated vulnerabilities in order to execute code remotely. The important vulnerabilities could allow for remote code execution, denials of service, and elevation of privilege attacks.

Affected software in the patch includes Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer, Server Software, Office, and .NET Framework.

The Patch Tuesday bulletins are expected on Tuesday at 1 p.m. ET, after which the Microsoft Security Response Center will host a webcast to discuss the fixes.
