I volunteered for the Red Cross part time for a few years.  After the experience, I have a lot more respect for people who work in various lab jobs. It’s hard to articulate the work that they do; you just have to see it for yourself.

They had a big news story in Indianapolis about the city hospital's hard drives not being erased when they are sold.  Personal information can be collected if the hard drives aren't properly deleted.  I figured that the only information a hospital would collect would have to do with health charts and medical records.  What information on a hospital's hard drive could be used for things like identity theft?  Is it possible to access health insurance information to be used by someone else on a copy machine hard drive?
