Microsoft’s Patch Tuesday release next week will comprise four bulletins, one of which is rated critical, covering vulnerabilities in numerous versions of Windows as well as Visio 2003.
The most serious of the vulnerabilities is a critical flaw affecting Windows 7 and Windows Vista. In total, Microsoft plans to fix 22 vulnerabilities on July 12. In addition to the critical bug in Vista and Windows 7, the company also is planning to patch a slew of other vulnerabilities that are rated important across multiple operating system versions, including Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
Several of the upcoming bulletins also affect Windows Server 2003 and Windows Sever 2008.
