It's great that Microsoft finds the bugs - but why doesn't it fix them?
I downloaded and installed the RTM Office 2010 and Outlook 2010 still has a major bug - commented on since early betas as it has trouble sending mail. (A mail program that doesn't send mail - shouldn't that be picked up . .) What's the use of Microsoft finding the bugs if it doesn't fix them? I wasted some four hours installing, struggling, applying all the supposed fixes available on the web, then finding that it could send if you exited, killed the process, as it doesn't exit properly, then reload. Rather a mess when you have to dothat every time.. I then did a system restore and went back to Outlook 2007 - which worked perfectly with the same settings. Unbelievable.
