    This would indicate the fingerprint warrant is legal: https://www.quora.com/Can-a-search-warrant-compel-me-to-unlock-my-own-safe (The tl;dr is that a warrant can compel the production of something physical, such as a key, but cannot compel speech. Ergo a fingerprint, being physical, is fair game, but passwords/phrases, being acts of communication, are not. While I agree most information you find on the net is suspect, the reasoning here at least sounds good.)
